Tyler and I decided to go BIG and head to Athens, Greece for a few days. Tyler wont be working for the airlines for too much longer so we figure we need to take advantage of the jobs perks while we can. Greece is one place that I have always wanted to go and Tyler is so amazing and totally jumped on the idea.
Athens is not what I was expecting it to be at all. Eveything is really old yet beautiful. We got to see the olympic stadium, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian Arch, Acropolis, Theatre of Dinos, the ocean, those really serious soldiers with fur balls on their shoes...I mean really what else could you ask for. We shopped, laid out, swam, ate at McDonalds, went to a karaoke club and took lots of pictures.
Things you should know before going to GrEeCe......
Europeans love to stare at you
Wear your seat belt at all times due to the crazy and insane drivers.
Be prepared to be around cigarette smoke, everyone smokes there! It's gross!!
Girls do not belive in straighteners, they all have big freezy hair.
The Greek kids love Green Day.
Cars go by kilometers NOT miles per hour...so when your husband is going 120 on the highway it is not necessary to freak out.
When you brake anywhere be aware someone will honk at you.
Stray dogs are on every street resembling death.
We had such a great time in Athens. Best vacation yet!!

Uh! so so jealous!
You are so lucky to just be able to jump on a plane at any moment and go anywhere in the world...that is awesome! I enjoyed reading your tips on visiting Greece, I will have to keep those in mind if I EVER get to go there.
