San Jose

So last weekend Tyler and I went to San Jose for a work conference. It was quite a trip! We were all trying to make the trip as cheap as possible so we packed into a huge Mormon van and made the long trip.

We left at 3 in the morning so we could get to California in time for our first meeting. We had 12 adults in the van for 12 hours. It was a nightmare…. The conference was great! The guest speaker was Donald Trump. It was crazy to see him in person. (Donald is right there at the podium)
Our hotel was a crap hole to say the least. We called for a wakeup call for 5 in the morning and it never came. We woke up and went to the office to find the worker asleep at his desk.

We tried getting to the conference center early to get a seat each morning, because there around 18 thousand people there. The center was playing techno each morning. For those who don’t know…Tyler loves him some beats. This is him and Bonnie dancing.
On our way home we added two more people to the car. Our driver was Bob Evans, who is the Fox 13 news anchor. He is hilarious in the wee hours of the morning.
There was an inch of snow on the ground in Tahoe and the highway patrol made everyone chain up their tires. It added a few hours to the trip home.
