We are alive

I realized that I have not updated our blog in awhile.

This is due to a few reasons. My laptop is not working, my camera was not working for a while, and we haven't done anything too exciting.

In July we went to Bear Lake with the Stanton's for a family reunion. Apparently we have a distant relative who owns a cabin up there and she let us stay there. It was a really nice place and we had a great time. We went to the beach and watched the kids play in the water. I got to work on my tan...finally! So I was excited about that. There were about 20 of us up there and we had 7 four wheelers. So we also spent a lot of time playing on those.

Tyler made me wear the helmet, he thought it was cute.

In big news...Tyler bought me an ipad for my birthday. I have been loving it! It has been so much fun using facetime with friends and family. I can also work from anywhere...which is good and bad at the same time. I never get a break! Haha jk

My dad is in a new band, The Greg Simpson Band. They are awesome. You should check them out on facebook. We have really been enjoying going to watch them play. My dad loves playing with his friend!!

A few weeks ago we went to Island Park with a group of friends. We went last summer with them and we are trying to make it a yearly trip. Tyler's friend Gabe has a cabin up there and it is like a dream. On the lake, with a boat and dock, seadoos, and four wheelers. The boys were in their own world! Us girls loved it to. We all brought books and just relaxed. It was seriously the best! I read almost a whole book in just two days. As a side note, if you haven't read The Hunger Games, you need to. Tyler and Gabe were really excited to surf together. They had a hard time getting up to say the least. They looked so gay standing on the board together...while they sang Justin Beiber. And when I say they I mean Tyler.
This is a short recap of the past few months. We still have a few family get togethers this summer. We have a baptism, peach days, and Tyler's 30th birthday. It is going to be a busy couple of weeks.
