Pre Birthday Celebration

So Tyler is turning 30 in two weeks. He is really pretty sad about being "in his thirties." A few months ago he bought concert tickets to go see Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance for his birthday, to himself from himself.

I think he is afraid his birthday is going to be a let down and depressing, so he keeps planning all these things to do. There was the concert, probably a trip, a few days off work, gifts, and possibly a surprise somethin' somethin'. I figure what the heck you only turn 30 once so I'll let him go all out.

The concert was last night in Salt Lake. Tyler asked a few friends if they wanted to go with him instead of me but he had no takers. I have been to I believe 4 concerts in my life, and 2 of them involved Tom Delonge of Blink. I love him by the way! So I figured I might give someone else a chance. But in the end I am glad I went. We had a great time.

Concerts bring a wide range of people together and it makes for some great people watching. We were in heaven watching all the freaks and hoochie mama girls. The music was good too. Haha!

I was excited to see My Chemical Romance, I really liked them in high school. It brought back some memories!

Tyler just loves Blink. We actually went and saw them two years ago for Tyler's birthday. They were great, as always. They are a little crude, a mean a lot crude. One of the first things Tom said on stage was that he was drunk. They still sounded good though...and that's whats important.

I brought my camera in and I am so glad I did. Oh hi Tom!Our seats were way on the side but still good. I love having a seat because I get tired of standing. Ty stood the whole time! I sat every once in awhile.

Happy early birthday Ty! It is going to be weeks of celebration...
