Home update

As I posted last month...Ty and I purchased a home in St. George. We are building so we made another trip down to select everything for our home. Exciting right? Kinda nerve racking too! I have been so worried about all the decisions we had to make. Ty kept telling me I could pick whatever I wanted! So the pressure was on. Of coarse I tend to have expensive taste so we were pretty worried that we would not be able to get everything we wanted and stay within our budget. In the end the whole process was awesome and we got pretty much everything we wanted! I am still amazed!
Our in laws are so great and they came down with us to help with Ivy. I wanted to make sure we were focused at the design center and not worrying about her. It is impossible not to worry about your little one...but grandma and grandpa did a great job! They took her a few drives to get her to sleep. Grandpa decided Ivy likes going over bumps so he found as many bumps as he could for her. Too cute!
Anyway, the design center was awesome! They went over every detail possible. At first it was so overwhelming. There were so many colors and options for everything. As the day progressed we got better at deciding.
We went with gray-ish tile floors, a warm gray wall color with white trim. As seen below.

This is the countertop in the kitchen and laundry room. The white color is the color of the cabinets. I am so excited for my white kitchen. It was at the top of my wish list!

This is all the colors with the carpet too.

In the pictures it is hard to see the actual color. The colors are very cool and soft.
This is the stone on the exterior. It will be a light gray/cream stucco with stone.

Okay...if you can't tell, I am super excited! I never thought I would get a brand new house and be able to pick everything out. I am so blessed! It pays off to live in the basement with your in laws for two years. Ty and I have worked so hard to build up our business since we started it and i am so grateful for how everything is working out.
I have not given much thought to the actual moving part. I guess I'm not ready for that. We will be leaving a lot of family and it is going to be hard. At least we have a few extra rooms for lots of visitors.
