I can't believe Thanksgiving has come and gone. I didn't even have time to think about Thanksgiving with the baby coming so close. One of the first things my mom said when I told her my due date was that that is very close to Thanksgiving and its HER year. She is too funny. Since there was no way we could travel up north the whole family came to us. It was seriously awesome. My parents, sisters and their families rented a house close by. We didn't have to travel, put anyone up or cook. We really scored! Plus we had great weather while everyone was in town.
We always have a great time being together as a family. My sisters planned a few fun activities for the kids to do on Thanksgiving to keep them busy. Ivy even got in on the action and played a little Thanksgiving BINGO. Too fun! We took the kids to the park before we ate since the weather was nice and then we returned home to Thanksgiving dinner. It was yummy as usual. Unfortunately, I was not feeling too great all day. I thought for sure was going into labor all day. I had contractions throughout the day but no baby came. I was still well enough to eat and visit with the family though.
The family sure packed in the fun for the weekend. Ty and I were able to squeeze a movie date night in too. We were kinda party poopers on all the fun activities since we decided to have a baby instead.
It was a great St. George Thanksgiving and we hope to make it a new Thanksgiving family tradition.
