We finally did it.
First, went to Vegas for the first time since we moved to St. George and
second, left the kids over night. Its about time right!
For Ty's birthday I got him tickets for Cirque Du Soleil. We went to the Beatles Love and it was totally awesome. We had been talking about going for awhile now and it worked out great because Ty's parents were coming into town around his birthday so they could watch the kids. We decided to make a night of it and I'm so glad we did. We had such a fun time just us with no kids. We missed the girls but knew they were in great hands. I don't even think they missed us.
The show was really great. Totally recommend it! Our bought the cheapest tickets I could find. So I told Ty not to be too excited because I knew we would have the worst seats. We were in the last row, but since the stage is a circle they still went bad. A few minutes before the show an usher came over and said they would like to upgrade our seats. Total score.
After the show we walked around and found a great spot to sit and people watch. It was a total freak show in Vegas and we were lovin every minute of it. We got tired and headed to our hotel room and went to bed. It was wonderful to sleep in! We slept until check out, which was 11. No one came into my bed demanding a waffle and apple juice. It was nice! But we missed those girlies so much we checked out and heading home.
We can't wait to do it again.
