Halloween

Halloween day did not go as I had hoped. But in the end it was still a great day.

The girls and I headed out in the morning to do some fun Halloween activities while dad got some work done. We met some friends at story time at the library for Halloween stories, craft, trick or treating and a parade. Ivy was not thrilled about the crowd of people and didn't want to participate so we left that before the trick or treating and headed to McDonalds for happy meals. Ivy loves McDonalds so she was excited for that but she and Gwen were both a little on edge so we ditched out early on the afternoon of activities and headed home to rest. It was needed, especially for mom.

The girls were so excited to trick or treat after dinner. We went pretty early because they were too eager. We did two houses or so then Gwen fell asleep and Ivy was done after our street. So we were home before seven. We thought we might have fun passing out candy but we only had one trick or treater. The girls still loved it. And they looked too adorable!
