Ivy's First Halloween

Halloween is so much more fun when you have kids. We have been so excited to dress Ivy up. Tyler really wanted Ivy girl to be a bumble bee. I think he used to call me bumble bee for a short while when we dated. He has also called Ivy bumble bee from time to time. He has lots of names for her but we liked the bee idea. We started our festivities with the ward trunk or treat. The party was at the park by our house and it was such a nice night. We hung out with a few families in the ward, ate chilly, walked the car show, checked out all the costumes and watched the kids trunk or treat. It was a good time.

The next night we carved our pumpkin. Ivy thought it was funny. She kept giggling while watching dad carve. It was too cute.

On Halloween we took Ivy to a few of the neighbors, mainly to show her off because we are so proud of her. She can't eat candy so I will help out in that area. Our one neighbors gave her a sugar cookie and she loved it! She had frosting everywhere! After our short outing I was excited to come home to pass candy out. I was super bummed because we got NO trick or treaters. ZERO! I thought that might happen since we live at the far end of the development and we are one of the only completed houses on the street. So it ended up being a really quiet night. I'm sure it will be different next year though once more people have moved in.

All ready to go...

Trick or Treating

I ate the Reeses and she got the wrapper. We all win!

We think she is really cute.
