Ivy took her first trip to the dentist. I wasn't planning on taking her so young, but she fell off the counter last month and her front tooth kind of got pushed back a tad and I thought we should get it looked at. I was really nervous that Ivy was not going to be the best patient for the poor dentist. I took her to a pediatric dentist and it was so cute and they were great. Ivy did such a great job. She sat on my lap and laid back into the dentists lap and he brushed and flossed her teeth. They had Frozen playing and the ceiling so as she laid down she could watch it. Worked like a charm.
I was so proud of her I took her for ice cream afterwards.
Ives also got a balloon and toothbrush as we checked out and she loved it so much she napped with it once we got home.
Also, her front tooth was fine.

Can't Ivy look any more adorable than that? The ice cream you bought looks bigger than her whole head. She looks like she was trying to fit it all in her mouth. Haha! Anyway, I'm guessing being able to watch Frozen helped calm her down even more as she lied on the dentist's chair. It was also really nice of her dentist to give balloons out. I guess your pediatric dentist really knows what they're doing. :)

Yikes! I can't believe Ivy got her front tooth pushed back. That must've frightened her. Anyway, I'm glad her first trip to the dentist was a success. Good to know she behaved like a little princess. It must've helped that Frozen was playing on the ceiling. Hahaha! I'm so proud of her. Thanks for sharing that, Staci! All the best! :)
