Silly Ivy

Ivy has been saying the funniest things lately.

Three years old is very challenging but it also comes with lots of laughs and loves.

 

Just a few things worth remembering...

Ivy ALWAYS takes whatever Gwen has. She has to have it if Gwen has it. It is so frustrating! The other day Ivy took some toy from Gwen and I hear Ty get a little upset with her. he say, "Ivy! we do not take things from Gwen. When are you going to learn your lesson!" And I hear Ivy reply,"Probably in a few days."

Ivy was dancing around in the bathroom. I asked her if she needs to go potty. She says "no mom, this is not a potty dance, its just a dance dance.

At bedtime the girls both get all rowdy before lights out. We tell Ivy its bedtime and she says "its not bedtime its party time!"

We were grocery shopping the other day and I hear Ivy telling Gwen, "I'm a big girl, you're a big girl, mom's a big girl and dad's a big girl. But dad's a boy."  

Ivy is also really into make believe and using all sorts of names. Some of her favorite names to call herself, Gwen, mom, dolls, and toys are: Kennedy, Emma, Kristy, Tok, Emmy, and Olivia. I think Gwen does not know her actual name because Ivy is always playing some sort of game when Gwen's name has changed.
